Britt Miller
Vice President
Mr. Miller is responsible for prospecting new residential and commercial business including broker underwriting and due diligence for potential Steelhead capital partner investments in the Western United States. Britt heads up an origination team that focuses on loan production for all residential property types, including commercial loans up to $3m.
Britt has been involved in real estate since the late 90's in a number of different capacities. Prior to joining Steelhead Capital, he had formed a wholesale lending company in the Bay Area representing smaller investment loans for income producing properties. Britt's multi-disciplined background and real estate experience brings unique insight to the Steelhead team.
A graduate of University of the Pacific, Britt and his wife currently reside in San Carlos, CA. Britt is active in the real estate community, enjoys traveling, and an overall sports fan – especially golf, basketball, and baseball.
A Sean Aguilar, CCIM
Vice President
Mr. Aguilar primary responsibility is originating debt and equity for potential Steelhead capital partner investments in the Western United States and Hawaii. Aguilar is also active managing the disposition and purchase of properties on behalf of Steelhead. He typically works with clients on a general broker advisory basis, reviewing client portfolios with an emphasis on before and after tax cash flows and before and after tax sale proceeds prior to recommending a course of action. Aguilar is equally well versed in the 1031 exchange process.
Over the last 13 years, Aguilar has held positions with some of the top brokerage companies in the industry. At Bank of America he was a vice president responsible for developing and managing a residential loan group, increasing market share by 30% under his leadership.
Aguilar has also had extensive experience with a number of Investment Brokerage firms in the commercial real estate investment sales arena. He has sold, purchased and financed properties ranging from apartments, retail strip centers, single tenant investments - NNN as well as ground up construction.
Aguilar is an active member of the Hawaii CCIM Chapter and a graduate of the University of San Diego. He is a dedicated sailor, cyclist, and lacrosse enthusiast residing in Marin County, CA with his wife and son.
Elaine Y.L. Hui
Senior Loan Closer
Ms. Hui's is primarily responsibility for coordinating the large number of documents and people necessary to close complex real estate transactions. She also assists in general office management as well as supporting Steelhead's executive management.
With a background in banking, commercial property management and loan closing, Hui has 7 years experience in the real estate arena. She joined Steelhead Capital, Inc. in April of 2003 from Arroyo & Coats, Inc.
Elaine lives in San Francisco and is an active downhill skier and frequent hiker. She attended City College of San Francisco.
