Mr. McLeod is responsible for managing Steelhead clients through the often complicated process of an acquisition or disposition of a Multi-family investment property. Mr. McLeod brings institutional grade transaction experience, underwriting and market knowledge to the private client that is looking for a $2-10 million investment. Mr. McLeod is equally well versed in the overall marketing of a client's property for sale, and creates a marketing plan for the broadest possible exposure.
Mr. McLeod's has been involved in real estate since 1999, with an emphasis on the purchase and sale of multi-family investment properties. Prior to joining Steelhead Capital, McLeod worked at Peregrine Real Estate Advisors, a San Francisco based real estate advisory firm he co-founded in 2001.
While at Peregrine, he advised clients in the purchase or sale of various types of apartment communities ranging from two unit TIC investments in San Francisco, to a 595 unit value-add opportunity in Oklahoma. Prior to Peregrine, McLeod worked at Arroyo & Coates, where he gained valuable experience in the marketing of institutional grade multifamily properties. Since 1999, McLeod has sold over 2,500 multifamily units, hotel property, residential lots, agricultural income property and recreational property.
McLeod holds a real estate brokers licenses, is an active candidate with CCIM, and is a graduate of St. Mary's College. He is an outdoor enthusiast and he and his wife currently reside in the San Francisco bay area.
