Cash-Out Refinance
A refinancing of a loan or mortgage that allows the financer to take cash out of the property.
For example, if the property appraises at $200,000 and the current mortgage balance is $100,000, a cash-out refinance to a $160,000 mortgage would allow the property owner to receive $60,000 in cash.
